Explore the Spiritual Essence of India: Varanasi Allahabad Tour Package for Three Nights
India is known for its rich cultural heritage and spiritual significance. Among the many destinations that hold a special place in the hearts of pilgrims and travelers alike, Varanasi and Allahabad stand out for their historical, cultural, and religious significance. A tour package that covers these two iconic cities in a three-night itinerary promises a journey filled with spirituality, heritage, and enlightenment.
Day 1: Arrival in Varanasi
Your Varanasi Allahabad tour package begins with your arrival at the Varanasi airport or railway station. You will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Varanasi, also known as Kashi or Banaras, is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world and is considered one of the holiest places for Hindus.
After check-in and some rest, you will set out to explore the city's spiritual charm. Your first stop will be the revered Kashi Vishwanath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, which is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas in India. The temple is known for its intricate architecture and spiritual ambiance, and witnessing the evening aarti (prayer ritual) here is a divine experience.
Next, you will take a boat ride along the sacred River Ganges to witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat. The Ganga Aarti is a daily ritual performed by priests, where they offer prayers to the river with lamps and incense, creating a captivating spectacle that leaves visitors spellbound.
Day 2: Varanasi Sightseeing
The second day of your tour will be dedicated to exploring the spiritual and cultural heritage of Varanasi. You will start with an early morning boat ride on the Ganges to witness the soul-stirring morning rituals of the locals, including the sacred ritual of taking a dip in the river to cleanse their sins.
After breakfast, you will visit Sarnath, the place where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon after attaining enlightenment. The famous Dhamek Stupa and the Ashoka Pillar at Sarnath are significant Buddhist sites that attract visitors from all over the world.
In the afternoon, you will visit the famous Banaras Hindu University (BHU), one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in India. The sprawling campus houses several museums and art galleries, including the Bharat Kala Bhavan, which exhibits a vast collection of Indian art and artifacts.
In the evening, you can explore the narrow lanes and bustling markets of Varanasi, famous for their silk sarees, handicrafts, and street food. You can also opt for a cultural show or a classical music performance to immerse yourself in the local culture.
Day 3: Allahabad Excursion
On the third day of your tour, you will head to Allahabad, also known as Prayagraj, which is located about 120 kilometers from Varanasi. Allahabad is a city known for its confluence of three sacred rivers - the Ganges, the Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati - known as the Triveni Sangam.
You will visit the Triveni Sangam, where pilgrims take a holy dip to cleanse their sins and offer prayers to the river. The Kumbh Mela, the largest congregation of pilgrims in the world, is held at the Triveni Sangam every 12 years and is a spectacle to behold.
Next, you will visit the Allahabad Fort, built by Emperor Akbar in the 16th century. The fort houses several ancient temples, including the famous Patalpuri Temple and the Akshaya Vat, a sacred fig tree that is believed to be immortal
